Cretan Nectar White Petimεzi is made from the late harvested white Raisin grapes and grapes of the aromaticvariety of Muscat, which grow on the sunny mountain slopes of Crete. Afer picking, the grapes are leftout in the sun for a few days before pressing. The must is then simmered gently to create Cretan Nectar White Petimezi, a natural syrup rich in nutrients with a lively and fresh sweetness. Not only a substitue for sugar, it has its own distinctive velvety texture, full of flavour and aroma. It sweetens and flavours cookies, cakes and pastries. It is also ideal for tea, drinks, fruit salads, yogurt, cocktails and red sauces.
